A robust plant that is very resistant to the cold. Produces thin leaves that grow to a height of around 20 cm. The finely chopped leaves are used to flavour sauces, salads, pasta dishes, etc. The plant has stimulating, diuretic and antiseptic properties as well as a high vitamin content.
